Training for the Body and Mind

I'm going to be real straight with you here, people are getting lazy, even athletes. Sure, most young men and women are willing to put in the hard work necessary to elevate their game, but by and large, they want to be told what to do. Most are willing to bust their asses on the field and in the weight room, but few are willing to put their nose into a book. As it would so happen, there are countless people out there ready and waiting to "help" them out for a small fee.

Everywhere you look, coaches (many of whom are of questionable character) are selling their special programs guaranteed to turn you into an athletic freak. Gain 20 pounds of muscles, lose 10 pounds of fat, add 10 inches to your vertical leap and drop your 40 by a half a second, all in 8-12 weeks. Sure it sounds good, Hell, it sounds great, but unfortunately it doesn't work that way.

In truth, some of these programs will get results, some might even get good results, but what happens when the program ends? Where do you go from there?

Here at SST, we want to help you answer that question. We don't provide programs, we provide understanding. We aim to teach you the skills necessary to properly manage and assign your own training without the need for continued outside input. We teach you to take charge and be your own coach. We make it so you're dependent on nobody but yourself.

By truly understanding the material rather than just following a cookie cutter program, you'll learn what to do, how to do it, when to do it, and what to do when the gains run dry.
